An electronics job shop was assembling circuit boards for an automotive application.
Their contract called for the connector pins to be pull- and push-tested on a
certain number of the finished boards. B. Dash Fabrication designed and machined
these components to allow the boards to be held in a test fixture and the pins to be
clamped to a WagnerŪ force gauge.
To prevent the application of any side force, the piece that holds the circuit board is
slotted, allowing the board to float into alignment with the force gauge.
